For the sheer satisfaction of seeing a completed book, then poetry collections are certainly among our most rewarding genres. While the poetry itself is obviously the key element, the subsequent layout, presentation and production of the book can make all the difference to how the collection is perceived.
At SPP we're perhaps a bit fussy about it all, but the presentation really does matter - and so does
First we advise on the preferred book format & spec. Then, as per the example below, we share our early workings with the author(s) to agree on the font and layout, etc. Once we've established the styling, we then complete a print-ready file. We will also create a suitable cover design, either by utilising images that are provided, or we create something bespoke, dependent on our author's brief.
